Our Story
Shikamo was founded on a simple conviction: campaigns in Africa deserve the same strategic rigour, data discipline and operational craft found in the world’s most competitive political environments - delivered by people who understand the continent from the inside.
What began as a small advisory practice has grown into the continent’s dedicated political campaign and advisory firm - now restructured and expanded, with integrated teams spanning strategy, data, digital, mobilisation and crisis response.

Cynthia Manjoro
Campaign Communication Specialist
Cynthia Manjoro is a political campaign communication specialist with over a decade of experience across sub-Saharan Africa. For the past three years, she has been part of Shikamo Political Campaigns Advisory, where she has contributed to three consecutive electoral victories through sharp messaging, data-driven voter targeting and disciplined digital mobilisation. Her work spans the full campaign architecture, from narrative development and media strategy to ward-level mobilisation and rapid-response communication. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Monitoring and Evaluation from Stellenbosch University and a Master of Science in Development Studies from NUST, bringing the same analytical rigour she applies to evaluation work to measuring and refining campaign performance in real time. Beyond campaigns, Cynthia has worked extensively in research, feminist evaluation and advocacy communications.
