Currently there is no institution in Africa that offers training on running and managing political campaigns. The knowledge individuals have is either through experience acquired over the years or from hired expertise from outside Africa. The need for an academic grounded programme that offers training to party staff and academics on running and managing campaigns is crucial. Shikamo fills this vacuum by providing a resource hub that has data and research on campaigns drawn from case studies across Africa.

The hub assists as an ideation resource in developing effective campaigns and in empowering clients and practitioners.
